Back in ancient times when I was growing up and color TV was considered high tech, I remember watching the news on Christmas Eve and feeling assured that Santa was on his way as they broadcasted that he’d been sited on radar. This of course was my cue to run to bed and pretend to be asleep so I could catch him putting my gifts under the tree.
